This is so messed up. I know the IRS is aware of this by now, especially with it hitting CNN. The least they could do is give us some type of hope or acknowledgement while we wait. I’d rather be in a bad neighborhood waiting on a ride that I know is late than to be stranded with no phone or form of communication. Sometimes I go to the get my payment site and stop myself from logging in thinking, “what’s the **bleep** point!”
