You can use this IRS web site to track an amended return form 1040X that you printed, signed and mailed to the IRS: https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return
In normal times, it takes the IRS about 16 weeks to process an amended return. It's probably taking a lot longer now because the IRS is currently not processing any mailed returns.
