Even in normal times it can take several weeks.   With the IRS having only limited operations due to the Coronavirus, it may be sitting on someone's desk.   And any correspondence from the IRS is markedly limited or non-existent.

 

Normally you'd be able to phone the IRS to ask about it, but their live assistance call centers are closed.

 

If you wish, you can try phoning the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service to see if they can see the status of it in the system.   They are especially inclined to help if you have a hardship.   They are based in each state, so your local office may still be taking calls.  At the following IRS website, find the USA map and click on your state, and it will give you the number of your IRS Taxpayer Advocate.
