My 19 year old brother filed with my parents so the tax preparers had his information. My 26 year old brother didn't work last year so I don't think he has anything to file.
Yes, TurboTax let me check the box that I can be claimed as a dependent by someone else. There was no message that popped up but there was a question mark explaining what a dependent is. It's my fault that I skipped over reading what a dependent is but my taxes would've been rejected because my parents filed before me.
