Thank you for responding. I had him read that page and he knows we don't qualify according to those guidelines. However, he emailed the tax preparer and since she said he doesn't need to amend, he's not going to. I'm just at a loss right now. She said something about how we can still dependents if we didn't make more than 16k-20k. At this point, I don't know what to do. I don't think there's anything I CAN do because my dad is so stubborn.
