H&R Block could handle anything that TurboTax does if you choose the right version. Maybe you need to upgrade to a higher version in H&R Block to do what you want to do. I'm not trying to run you away from TurboTax but it will probably cost you more in the long run and be more difficult to reproduce your original return in TurboTax before you can start the amended return.
