Please be aware that you might have to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe to include child care expenses. Please see these instructions on how to add child care expenses:
- Click on "Amend (change) return" on the Tax Home screen
- Select “Changing other info on my return”
- Scroll down to “Deduction & Credit” and click on the “Add a deduction or credit” button
- Click on “See all tax breaks”
- Scroll down to “You and Your Family” and click on “Show more”
- Click “Start” next to “Child and Dependent Care Credit”
- TurboTax will walk you through the questions
