Stimulus Payment Direct Deposit Headache

I have been unemployed over the last tax season and was exempt from having to file this year but as recommended by the IRS, TurboTax, and others, I used the quick tax form which was linked from the IRS official website in order to update my direct deposit information to receive my stimulus payment ASAP. I did receive an email hours after I used the IRS link to Turbo Tax Stimulus Payment Short form confirming that my stimulus payment application had been accepted and submitted to IRS and I thought I was ahead of the game at that point. 

 

Since then (April 6th), I have not been able to confirm that the IRS or TurboTax has my correct direct deposit info and I am unable to use the “get payment” tool the IRS just opened and I  keep getting an “unable to obtain status” message when I have tried to verify or potentially edit the bank info I originally submitted to TurboTax for stimulus payment 

 

When I contact Turbotax, they refer me to IRS page, no one from IRS will take calls about this matter, and I have no way of receiving any update or projected date of deposit due to the IRS tool leaving me with no answers and a 24 hour freeze on my account each day that I have tried to check for status updates. And now when looking at the submitted direct deposit info on the stimulus form it just says 

routing number :xxxxxxx

account number :xxxxxxxx

which looks like my bank details have been rejected or deleted. 

 

is anyone else experiencing a similar scenario like mind  and is there Anybody I can speak to about this before it’s too late and I end up having to wait for a check to be mailed to me weeks or months from now? 

 

Any guidance or tips regarding my issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙏
