so I created an account in IRS.GOV and I used their tool to check the eligibility of the CTC, I’m eligible , my 3 kids are under 12 and They are not claimed by anybody else, I filed jointly with my wife. And my income is working the eligible conditions.
I tried to call the IRS multiple time but they said that we cannot talk to live person because they reduced their staff because of the Coronavirus situation.
I downloaded the transcript from the IRS website and I saw that the problem is: I put 6000$ for CTC but their computer put Zero!
i don’t know why!
My tax filing is really easy, W2 numbers and standards deduction ... not complicated
