The only way you will AUTOMATICALLY get the payment is if you in fact gave the IRS a routing# & account# . You will not get the payment if this was your 1st time using turbotax card. The IRS will not have the routing# & account# that is linked to the card that you received for refund on from any year unless you specifically listed it at sometime in a return. You have to use the IRS getmypayment tool. I've used turbotax for years & had several different cards during that time. Once I used the IRS tool ( you need soc.sec#, b-day, Adjusted Gross Income ie., line 8b on your 1040, then it will tell you the IRS doesn't have your direct deposit info. I gave the IRS the routing# & account# linked to this year's refund/turbotax debit card) finally it said my payment will be deposited so now I'm waiting to see... Simple process
