It looks like we have to amend our federal tax return asap unfortunately. Surprisingly in 2020, the government process with this is still archaic. You have to print it out on turbotax and mail it. The IRS doesn't accept amend federal tax return via online. The estimate time is 16 weeks to process an amend federal tax return. We might receive our stimulus check 3 to 5 months from now.
