TurboTax Wont tell us the truth until the last minute because the answer is no, if you received an advance on your return that was deposited on to the Turbotax Card they have no idea how you will get your Stimulus payment and you will likely receive a check months from now. Which is why they aren’t being honest because millions of people still haven’t filed taxes and they dont want people to go else where for tax filing services. So when the IRS finally comes out a tool to add a “real” bank for direct deposit I advise you use it and I also advise you never use TurboTax again since they clearly cant be informative because of the potential loss of customers, but the end result is the same your losing more customers for lying to our faces with that automated, corporate message. ✌🏽
