A few years ago I had to verify my identity with the irs to be able to finish my taxes because I had moved they asked me for my account and routing number for the card that turbo tax had sent me for that year. Which they new they were just confirming that I was who I was. So I don’t think there’s two separate account numbers that get sent to them. I really wish we could have some answers but they are going to give us a chance to enter our account information soon the IRS website is where you have to go.
