After you file
This may be due to a refund offset or if the IRS made a correction to your tax return, resulting in a lower than anticipated refund. You should soon receive a letter from the government explaining why you didn't get the entire refund. If you don’t get a notice, you’ll need to call:

In addition to the above, if you had TurboTax fees and selected to have your fees deducted from your refund, the fees would be deducted once the IRS releases your refund and the remaining amount would be sent to you via the choice that you selected to receive your refund.
