If you are referring to the stimulus check amount of 1,200, that's not how it works.

 

Your refund from your tax return will not include any amount from the stimulus check.  They are two separate things.  The refund calculated by the program on your tax return shows how much you will receive based on your 2019 tax information.  The IRS will send you the $1,200 as a separate payment later.  

 

If you did not provide your banking information on your tax return, in the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.  Stay tuned!
