I filed Fed electronically and mailed NC state return, Fed return was rejected and then I received a K1, updated Fed Return with K1 info and refiled electronically and return was accepted. I now need to amend Fed return with dependent status change and amend mailed NC return with K1 and dependent changes. When I click on Amend Fed Refund/Due monitor is saying I owe money for the K1 changes and NC shows zero and not sure how to deal with amending NC return and why Fed Return is showing money owed which is the exact amount of the change from the original rejected return and the corrected refiled return.
