Turbotax gave an option to hold my state refund. When i filed in 2016 i had it held, and didn't get a state return that year. When i filed in 2017 with turbotax it gave me the option to receive the previous year's state refund and i did. So last year i received my 2016 state refund and had my 2017 state refund held. I was going to have my state refund held this year also, but i didn't file through turbotax.
