your situation is the one many do not see that is causing the confusion. If the account numbers match then the money will go to the card. If the account numbers do not match then there is a different account the money is going to. If it is a third party then they need to figure out how that will be handled or if it will just get bounced back if the account is closed. Also check if you have a second account through greendot, a prior or different card and check that account number
