I’m going to tell you yes. It’ll go by your MOST RECENT file. So if you filed 2019 & opted for their debit card that Turbo sends you, 100% keep it just in case even if you run the money out of it from your taxes.
Anyone who hasn’t filed this year, it’ll go by last years 2018 file. Unless you file immediately, (before the filing deadline even- I wouldn’t risk waiting that long to file unless you have no option) then the IRS will use the most recent aka last year.
I believe at some point this month they’re gonna make a web-portal on the IRS page for people to put banking info in- so just stay updated! Personally I think this stimulus pay is gonna take some time. They say middish- late late April but I think that it’ll take the next 3 months for everyone who HAS their info in order to receive anything- even direct deposits. Otherwise I think it’ll take longer. It’s really a shame this is all having to happen. But yes dear! Keep the card! 😊
