If you are not getting a refund, no direct deposit information would go through. The program would not ask you for direct deposit information unless you had a refund.
If you are referring to the stimulus money, if you do not have direct deposit information on file at the IRS for 2019 or 2018 return (2018 if you did not file a 2019 return), you will be issued a check.
