Ok ... first the return could NOT have been filed with NO income ... so you do NOT amend a return that has not been filed. What you need to is finish entering in all the info and then file it properly.
Step one ... undo the amendment process ... then properly finish the return....

your tax return by accident and would like to cancel the amendment:
1. Open
your return if it’s not already open.
2. In the
left menu select Cancel amend.
3. Select Yes, I want to cancel my amended return.
