After you file
@poohbear6989 Tax Topic 203, is a reduced refund. You may have a refund offset, or you may have selected the Refund Processing Service (also called pay-with-your-refund) gives you the option to deduct your TurboTax fees from your federal tax refund.
A refund offset is when an IRS refund is reduced or intercepted to pay off delinquent debt, such as past-due child support, outstanding student loans, or unpaid state income tax.
Please see the IRS link below on Tax Topic 203:
If an offset actually takes place, the Bureau of the Fiscal Service will send you a notice.
For questions regarding this, you would need to contact the IRS:
How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)?
Note:
You will need to follow the prompts in order to speak to an IRS agent. There is a high call volume this time of year.
When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.
Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.
Then Press 1
Then Press 3
Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.
