So I went back to amend my taxes and when I try to take advantage of the earned income credit Turbo tax is not recognizing that I have changed my sons information to staying with me 12 months. It keeps telling me that I cannot get the credit because he is not with me for more than 6 months. I have tried numerous times and nothing. Is there a way to amend my taxes without using a current turbo tax file.
