Same thing happened with me. I called the IRS and had a 4464c hold of possibly 60 days on my account. They were verifying my employment. I also learned after speaking to the agent that I had forgotten about a job I had early 2019. I only had worked at the place a month and earned maybe $1000 which is why I had forgotten about it. Anyways, wages I reported to IRS vs wages reported to the IRS by employers were different. They had to work out that discrepancy. I fully expected to have to wait the full 60 days just to be told to amend my return, and wait another 4 months for the check from that return to possibly make its way to me. I filed 2-1, accepted 2-2, and received a DDD of 3-18 on Saturday morning. Hang in there. Call the IRS to get the facts, but as long as you have nothing shady going on, you’ll get your money.
