I filed my 2019 Taxes through TurboTax and received my refund.
I mistakenly entered my entire Home Mortgage interest deduction even though my average loan balance was over the limit of $1 million. I am trying to file an amendment but this time it is not asking me if all this interest is deductible. I cannot find a place to enter the amount of interest that is allowed to be deducted unless I click the box the amount I am entering is less than what is on my 1098 form.
How do I amend this amount on TurboTax?
