I put a nonfiled 2018 w2 on my 2019 return and it was accepted. The refund amount on it was $5969. I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to do that. But when I amended my return it now says I owe $2653 but I haven’t received the original return yet. Do I send in the amended return now or do I wait to get my refund and then mail it ? Also I got a letter from the irs that they are reviewing my taxes for accuracy and that I don’t need to do anything.
