Nope, no offset. I have no student debt. I have never been divorced. Nothing. The only thing that could have gone wrong is that some government employee did not fill out the routing and bank info correctly. This would have caused the direct deposit to fail. My bank did warn me about the IRS making coding errors. They said that the IRS does it all the time.
