Actually, I filed electronically requesting a direct deposit. Everything was correct on my return. I was supposed to receive my refund on 2/26. Initially, the IRS claimed that my refund had been sent to my bank but my bank denied that fervently. They never sent the refund. The treasury is trying to buy time by delaying my refund and millions of others by sending "checks". So yes, the "check" is in the mail but I didn't request a check. They don't have the money.
