Filed in Feb and it is now April and I have not received my refund. I checked the IRS site and my status is unavailable, how can I find out my refund status?

After you file

Go to our e-file status lookup tool to confirm that your tax return has indeed been accepted.

After your federal return has been accepted you should be able to look it up at the IRS Where's My Refund? See also Where's My Refund FAQs.

Make sure you enter your exact federal refund dollar amount (minus your state refund).

Another option is to call the IRS Refund Hotline at 800-829-1954.
