Filed in Feb and it is now April and I have not received my refund. I checked the IRS site and my status is unavailable, how can I find out my refund status?

Go to our e-file status lookup tool to confirm that your tax return has indeed been accepted. 

• After your federal return has been accepted you should be able to look it up at the IRS Where's My Refund? See also Where's My Refund FAQs.

• Make sure you enter your exact federal refund dollar amount (minus your state refund). 

• Another option is to call the IRS Refund Hotline at 800-829-1954.
