After you file
I just got off the phone with a rep who was very helpful. The issue got solved from doing the following:
- Go to the TT app
- Click on Forms in the upper left corner
- Go to CA (or your state) Forms section (scroll all the way down)
- Go to "Info Worksheet"
- Click on your personal info that was giving the issue before (Name, SS, Address, etc.). Or just remove all personal info.
- Then go back and click Easy Step on the top left corner
- Act as if you were going to file
- You might have to reenter your personal info again
- Should be good to go.
