After you file
So just so everyone knows, When they say "By the 26th" Essentially the way I understood it from a friend who works for the IRS is the following:
They sent it on the 24th IF you opted to have your Turbotax or w/e company fee taken out of your taxes, The third party company (Being Turbotax in this case) Will receive it by the 25th, then send it directly to YOU the consumer/customer by the 26th, which then i twill take 1-2 Business days for your bank to receive and process, when they release it is up to your bank. I suggest you all call your bank, ask if they see any pending deposits or any overnight deposits, all major banks such as BoFa, Chase, US Bank, BBVA, WellsFargo all can do this, so can a majority (90%) of other banks nationwide. Now if you opted for it to be directly sent to you and you already paid the turbotax fees or had no applicable fees, then same rules apply except they can wait until the 26th to send the refund if they want but typically its two days before hand. Also advised me that the app is updated every 24 hrs but it may not reflect the previous 24hrs, it could reflect what they did over the past 48 hrs, meaning if they Approved your refund today, the bar in the "Where's my Refund" App may not even move to reflect that for 48 hrs.
