Calling it's and being disconnected....
So j got a code 570 on my transcripts after about 20 calls and literally 6 hours between on hold and talking to someone I find out it's because the IRS never received my company's w2 and w3 forms. I contacted my company and the CFO called the IRS on Thursday they gave him the same information so he overnighted all the forms again. So I tried calling the IRS today (Monday) to make sure they received it and try to see when things would be moving along because they told me before as soon as the company sent the forms and they received. It my refund would be released because everything else was okay with it. I called the number and I know how to get a real person by selecting the right numbers and not putting in my social.... But when I get through the automated system says "due to extremely high call volume and the topic you selected we are unable to take your call right now. Please call back on our next business day." And it just hangs up.... Anyone else get this? Anyone know how to get around this message?
