If your date of birth has been entered correctly in TurboTax, then call the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 to verify that their records are correct. If SSA records are incorrect and have to be updated, it can take up to four weeks to transfer the updated information to the IRS. Wait four weeks, and then re-file the return. If you can't get it corrected, then you will have to file a paper return for this year.
If you believe the contact was fraudulent and claiming to come from TurboTax you can send any suspicious email that you have received to https://security.intuit.com/
Do not respond to an email requesting personal information.
