After you file
@Mblocker Once you e-file your return and IRS accepts it, then your return is on IRS timetable. There is no way of knowing exactly when IRS will finish processing your return, but you can slways track your refund on the IRS website. You will not see your refund expected date, on the IRS website, until after the IRS approves the refund. If there are no errors and no issues with your refund, then IRS will approve your refund and give you an estimated refund deposit date on the IRS Where's My Refund tracker. For most taxpayers, (9 out of 10), the refund process takes approximately 21 days. Please see this related TurboTax FAQ: When will I get my IRS tax refund?
If it has been more than 21 days since the IRS accepted your tax return, here is a reason why it might be delayed, please see this related article Some 2019 federal refunds are delayed due to the PATH Act Also, see this IRS page.
