You must answer yes to two questions at the beginning of your tax return to indicate that you are being claimed as a dependent. Please follow the directions below to return to the personal information section of your return.
- Log in and open your return
- Click the My Info tab located on the left side of the screen
- On the next screen, you should see your personal information listed
- Click Edit beside where your name is listed
- On the next screen, scroll down and answer Yes to the questions: "Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return" And this person will claim me on their 2019 tax return"
