After you file

The day your tax refund is processed by the IRS and sent to your bank for deposit would not be the same day.  The time varies depending on your own bank and when they release funds that are deposited into your account and what date the money was told to be available by the depositor.  Just as your paycheck is deposited.  Your company may send your check to your bank on Tuesday and state for it to be available on Friday.  The bank may, depending on its own deposit accommodations provide that your money be available the next business day that it was reported to be deposited, Wednesday in this example.  Or it may wait for your money to be available on the Friday it was told by the depositor that the money is to be available.  I find larger banks like BOA, USAA etc... to have monies available more expeditiously compared to a local bank such as the one you are listing here as a problem.  With a local bank, you may even find that your money is not available in the middle of the night, but rather in the hour after the regular banking hours of your local bank.  This is quite often the case if your money was to be available to you on a Monday or Tuesday after a holiday.  I suggest you sit back and wait.  Because this money was shown as deposited to your bank on Wednesday, I am sure you found that your money was available today, Friday.
