After you file
Tax Topic 152 is not the PATH message. 152 is the initial Tax code you receive once your return is submitted to the IRS indicating that they have your return for the year. It made it. It does not mean you are ACCEPTED OR APPROVED. The PATH Act message usually updates a few days later if not by the 15th. Meaning you will have 1 bar and a Recieved message on WMR until PATH message. Once it changes to PATH Act it will read " According to The Proctecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue refunds before mid-February for tax returns that claim Earned Income Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. This applies to the entire refund even the portion not associated with these credits". That is the PATH message you SHOULD see by the 15th or after. Just depends I guess if you update Weekly or Daily. I filed 1/29 and still have the same Tax Topic 152 with 1 bar and a Recieved on WMR. Still no update. I'm hoping tomorrow 2/8 it will finally update to PATH message. Hope this helps.
