It also has a different layout and has a standard deduction chart at the bottom. It also has only items that seniors would use. The only reason the IRS did this is because Congress made them do it. I think a TT user should have the option of choosing which form they want to use. Chances are this form won't be available in the future. Also, if one has to send in multiple years of returns, there is no consistency. It's a mess!
