Estimated taxes

I just finished filing my 2019 FIT. I pay quarterly, estimated taxes. I noticed that the Turbo Tax program has default dates in the estimated tax entry form. Those dates are consistent with 1040-ES. However, I always pay my quarterly taxes a few days before the required date. Here's the issue. When I tried to enter the actual payment date (which was different from the default date), I get an error message stating that the date cannot be before 1-1-2019. Well, in every case the actual date was after 1-1-2019, but I could not get the program to accept the actual dates. I finally gave up and went with the default dates and it accepted my entries. Not a big deal unless there is a need to calculate a penalty for late payment of estimated taxes. In that case the actual date of payment is important. I recommend Intuit look into this and see what's wrong.
