After you file
****IF YOU HAVE ALREADY E-FILED, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO CHANGE YOUR BANK INFORMATION.
Please note that without the correct routing number AND account number together, your refund will not come via direct deposit. However, don't worry! You should receive notice from the IRS when they cannot complete the direct deposit and this notice will come via US Mail. This notice will let you know that a paper check should arrive shortly. Go to www.TurboTax.com
- Log into TurboTax Online
- Click the box Take Me to My Return
- Select Pick up where I left off
- Select File towards the upper right side of your screen
Here will be the 3 steps to file your return. In Step 2 you should see "Revisit" in blue that you can click and it will take you to where you can change your banking information. (see picture below)
