This is with the cd version. I am amending my 2018 in a situation where I am going from itemized deductions to standard, I am going from 15k deductions to 12k which I know will reduce my income-tax refund from $5400 to about $4900. Instead it creates a return with my getting additional money. I have tried it 6-10 times and the funny part is the CA state does work half the time. I created a few backups first so I could go back and the answers are always the different but never correct.
It is simple change, in one of the answer pages it will ask me if I am going to a "standard deduction" I say yes and it shows me that my tax return will be going down. From $5400 to $4900, but it still will create a return with my getting more money.
