To enter the information on the Form 1098-T using the 2018 TurboTax Desktop Software you should:
- Switch to the Forms Mode in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
- On the left side select Open Form.
- Enter 1098-T in the search box.
- Select Form 1098-T and select Open Form in the Blue box at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter the information as it is on the Form 1098-T.
After you entered the information you can go back to the Step-by-Step Mode and continue entering the educational expenses. The tuition amount should be shown.
