To correct an EIN before you submit return, follow these steps:
- Go to Federal taxes
- Wages and Income
- Correct it on the W-2 data entry screen
To make a change after you will need to wait until the return is accepted or rejected.
NOTE:
You only need to make the correction if the return is rejected
