You need to wait until the IRS processes your tax return before you can prepare an amended return. This is in case the tax return is changed for some reason you won't amend using the wrong numbers.
If you have a refund, you should wait until you receive it. If you owed money, wait a few weeks or until your payment is processed.
You should see an option to amend your return in TurboTax on your home page within the next couple of weeks.
