I noticed a few errors in my original 1099, but it only resulted in moving an amount from the IRA classification (15a) to pensions (16a). I completed a 1040X, but since there were no changes in net amounts, do I need to file it. I.e., does Turbo-Tax notify the IRS that I amended the original return? Thanks, ER
