The 1099R was finally overridden to input the amounts in line 4b.  This is a programming flaw that TurboTax must fix.

The other critical issue is that it was impossible to get a live person by phone at TurboTax after 15 tries. This was totally frustrating. The auto system was not able to input my email for verification and dropped the call every time. I am totally disappointed with their customer support.

Is there a way to send TurboTax an email to answer questions?
