Please take the following steps to get back into your state return after your federal has been accepted.
- Sign into TurboTax Online
- Go to Taxes > My Tax Timeline.
- In the SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO section, click Add a state.
- Click on the State Taxes tab.
- Click Continue to start or complete your state taxes.
- Click Done with States.
- Continue through the pages to file your state tax return.
Some states have not finalized all forms yet, which will cause your state return status to say incomplete. Please see the following FAQ article to look up the availability on state forms. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3319879
