They can help you with tax questions while you are preparing your return, questions concerning software operation, issues filing when using the software, limited audit support (or full audit support for an extra charge), but they cannot do much about the internal functioning (or dysfunction) of the IRS with respect to (what they believe should be) the exact amount of your refund or the timeliness of receiving it.
