I don't yet understand what "first page is frozen means." You may need to describe in more detail exactly what you are referring to as "first page".
Are you using a Mac or PC? If you're using a Mac, I'll ask someone using a Mac to assist you. If you are using a Mac there are some known issues with 2015 software. If using a Mac, what is your OS X version?
What type of tax file did you download from online TurboTax? You need the *.tax2015 data file. Are you trying to open the *.tax2015 with the desktop software? Is the software you are using the special 2015 "amend software" that you downloaded for free?
You said you have "the file" saved on your desktop. How are you trying to open it? You should launch the 2015 TurboTax program first, then use the program to open the *.tax2015 file. Do not double-click the file to launch the program.
